Problem drawing graphs with rrd counters and 0 VALUES

Post by isaakO »

Hi,

I've created a data queries, a data template and a graphs, to monitor iSCSI commands in a SAN.
The IOD that I use returns a value that is always incrementing, then I've used the COUNTER parameter as DataSource Type.

That graphs are well drawn when the values are incrementing, but when the value is always the same (for example some LUN that isn't accessed by aby host) it not receive any iscsi command and the OID value doesn't increments and the graph shows stranges spykes.

The Data Template configuration is:
Data input Method: Get SNMP Data Indexed
Minimum Value: 0
Maximum Value: 1000000000
Dats Source Type: COUNTER
Index Type: checked
Index Value: checked
Output Type ID: checked

Some can help me to solve the issue? Maybe I've missed something but I'm very lost.
Please let my know if you need more info.

I think that it's solved. It seems an autoscaling problem.
