In the file:plugins/thold/thold_functions.php

the text below could be added.

Alert.log could receive thold alert message, but under agent of /etc/init.d/snmpd stop, there is no message in the alert.log.Email could receive agent down message.

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish, or why it would the "/etc/init.d/snmpd" stop command. All threshold breaches should be logged to a mysql table if you really want the data.
