Re: How to upgrade cacti
Hi BSOD
Thanks For your help now my cacti is working fine but i have some question,
1. Is it possible i can configure SNMP on remote host ( i mean public network)
2. And my Ping graph is not show data rest of all graph show data. Is there any functional problem or anything?
3. Can we edit scheduled Task time which is run automatic every 5 five min. after 2 run graph show data.
4. Some of my host which is windows server 2003 is connected to cacti but another server i have configure same but SNMP is not working.
5. Mail services is working fine. Can we send email from each host from different email id.
Thanks

Re: How to upgrade cacti
1. Yup, would be smart to secure it down and/or use snmpv3.
2. Sounds like it. consult the cacti.log with debug logging to find out and/or graph debug output.
3. 1 min polling is fickle... I'd strongly suggest you stick with the default 5 min polling until you're comfortable using cacti.
4. time to do basic snmp troubleshooting on them. a manual snmpwalk work? red snmp error in cacti?
5. Don't think so, but look into the manage and thold plugins.
