fedora 13 cacti issue

Post by zero13ro »

Hi,

It seems to be an issue with the cacti and fedora 13.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 523800 bytes) in /usr/share/cacti-0.8.7g/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 833
This error appears when i've tried to start cacti.
I,ve change de value from de default size to memory_limit = 768M in the /etc/php.ini file but with no result.

Linux 2.6.34.7-56.fc13.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Sep 15 03:36:55 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Installed Packages

Arch : x86_64
Version : 5.3.3
Release : 1.fc13

Installed Packages
Name : cacti
Arch : noarch
Version : 0.8.7f

Was just curious,

Did you initialize the database ?

Maybe the /usr/share/cacti is just a symbolic link to the other one ?

check with ls -l /usr/share/

Yes, its a symbolic link created in /var/www/html/ where is my document root with
ln -s /usr/share/cacti

do i have to create another symbolic to another folder in /var/www/html?

the cacti log its empty (/var/log/cacti/cacti.log)

i also want to add

ls -la /usr/share/cacti/rra
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 18 Sep 20 02:15 /usr/share/cacti/rra -> /var/lib/cacti/rra
