Old Data to a New Cacti install

Post by willdej »

I have a Cacti install with about 200 Devices. I have had some issues lately with the poller and Database not working correct so I am going to start fresh. IS it possible to import just my Devices from my old Cacti install to me new? I do not want the graphs just import the device name its IP and the SNMP settings I have used for the device.

Just dump the database and re-import on a fresh 0.8.7g system and refresh the browser to upgrade your database. Done.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
