Create graphs

Post by nb91 »

Hi,

I'm a new user of Cacti (v.0.8.7f) and I have already issues with it  .

I added devices on my console (a switch and a printer). The status of this devices is "Up" so it means it's ok.

Now I want to create graphs; I create graph but when I go in "Graph management" and I select a graph, this graph is empty. And it's for all my graphs. I don't know why.

Thank you for your help.

I guess you have forgotten registering poller to crontab, or not granted permissions rra/ directory for cactiuser.

See step 6 and 7 at 'Install and Configure Cacti',
or follow 'Gandalfs Official Debugging Help'.

Hi,

Thank you for your help. Now the graph work with my switch but not with the printer. May be, there is not enough activity from printer...

Which template (Host, Graph, Data) do you use for the printer?

If appropriate template as you want not exists, you can make own template as you like.

Ok thank for your help but the most important it's the switch, the printer is not important, it's just a test

My switch worked...

I upgrade to 0.8.7g and now I have no graph. When I write :

php /usr/share/cacti/poller.php, I have this message :
php /usr/share/cacti/poller.php
