[solved] Dasboard plugin creation

Post by tbaror »

Hello,

i would like to write customized Dashboard so i can choose kind of add widget as i would need and present then in my customized dashboard for that i would like to use Open Flash Chart 2 http://teethgrinder.co.uk/open-flash-chart-2/.

looking at Open Flash Chart 2 implementation is mostly using either JSON or Database query.

My question is is there a way to store RRD files in DB or retrieve data required directly into OFC2 ?

Please advice

The DSStats and Transporter plugins might help you.

DSStats keeps the last value, plus summary stats (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) max, average in the database.

Transporter keeps the last 'n' polls in the database - handy for DIY graphing.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
