CaMM export of filtered syslogs does not work

Post by torstentfk »

Hello,

i applied a filter to the camm-syslog view and want to export this data to excel by pressing the export-excel-button.
I get a .xml file with size of 32 Kb (shoulf be smaller) and an error when opning the file with excel. I tried to open this file with firefox: "... error in column 16084.."
Seems that the filter does not work and the file is too lonf in one line for excel.

In 90% of cases, this error causes a combination of characters from the message field.
Can you show me this field? Or an entire row, the export of which causes an error.

HI,
oh-- there are many entries on this export - so I do not know which row it is.
I will try the new version 1.6 andwill test it later.

Try to reduce number of rows to minimal (by filter and rows_by_page parameter) to find this exception row.

Filename is random. Why *.xls extension is wrong ?

Try replace file by this from archive.
