No IP's for Cisco 6500 in 2.8 New Install

Post by m00tpoint »

Hello,

New install of 0.8.7gb2 and MacTrack 2.8. Mactrack is picking up mac addresses, etc. as designed, but I cannot get any IP-Mac information.

I defined a device type, and have tried rescanning with every option for "IP Address scanning function" in the device type menu, but no joy. Mac addresses, interfaces, ports, etc. are all fine; only the IP-Mac function is not working.

The log from a rescan:

About to enter MacTrack Site Scan Processing

CMD: /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/cacti/plugins/mactrack/mactrack_scanner.php -id=3
A process cycle launch just completed.
Waiting on 1 with id = [-1, 3] to complete prior to exiting.
<snipped 38 more of those>
Waiting on 0 with id = [-1] to complete prior to exiting.
Interum IP addresses to MAC addresses association pass complete.
MAC addresses to Vendor MACS association pass complete.
MAC VLAN's in VLAN Table Updated.
Finished transferring scan results to main table.
Finished updating site table with collection statistics.

I've attached a screenshot of my device type screen. Is there a magic button I didn't know to push?

Thanks,
m00t

I hope this will help:

php -q ./mactrack_scanner.php -id=1 -d
<really big snip>
DEBUG: Scanning function is 'get_standard_arp_table'
PHP Warning: Parameter 2 to get_standard_arp_table() expected to be a reference, value given in /var/www/cacti/plugins/mactrack/mactrack_scanner.php on line 192

I get the same error message all the way back to 2.4's mactrack_scanner.php. v1.1 fails almost right away, no doubt due to db configuration differences.

Anything anyone suggests I try to get around this?
