check host and snmp error

Post by nsbelgium1 »

hello

I have some graph in cacti.
I retried the data with WMI and register in data base.
After a cacti script read the data in database and graph.

My problem is:

when snmp is active, the poller check the host and i find the line in cacti.log
but the snmp is not used for retried the data, it's WMI that is use.

when snmp is not active on the server, i don't find the line in cacti.log
I feel that the poller don't check the host and don't execute the script...
(i have put the printscreen of device's configuration)

Can you help me please?

This should perform a UDP test on port 23 to test host availability. You may deactivate the check at all at the risk of having long wait time in case the WMI service is not available
