Boost Help

I have tried to search and read every post I could find and anything on the internet even closely related to this. I am trying to implement a Boost Server between two different machines. I started out with just a normal cacti server and soon grew too big for it and would like to add more polling capability. So I added machine 2 and made machine 1 a boost server.

Now machine 1 still works great and machine 2 created some rrd's on machine 1 - but will not update them. Am I not understanding how Boost is supposed to be implemented? I just want machine 2 to poll and every graph to be viewable through machine 1. Can someone please help straighten me out? I see machine 2 polling and updating locally, not on the boost server (machine 1).

ok, some more info...

When I view the graphs on machine #2 it updates them properly on machine #1. If I do NOT view the graphs before the boost process runs (30 minutes) it updates the rrd's locally. I am soooo close

Please help!
