Template for NETAPP 7.3.2

Post by yellowdog2 »

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for a template that would monitor the volume on my NETAPP 7.3.2
I've been reading and searching a lot on the CACTI forum but in vain.

Any help would be appriciated.

I found my problem, I placed the netapp-volumes.xml in the wrong directory of cacti, it has to be placed in the snmp_queries and not in script_queries. oooooooooops

thanks for your help

Now it's working almost fine, but ther's a problem with the volume unit that should be expressed in GB instead of MB.

Is there a wait to change it on the graph ?

Yes there is.
You can use anCDEFto divide by 1024 (or 1000 if you prefer).
Change you y axis text to reflect your changes in the graphtemplate

It's a multiplication to perform, and now it's working fine thanks a lot.
I've been to the CDEF tutorial in order to understand the way to use CDEF.

Yes Cacti is powerful, but is basically a front-end tool for RRDtool, which makes this all possible and thus the really powerful tool.
Ow and congrats getting your cdef to work.
