SLA Monitoring using CISCO and CACTI: Problem

Post by sabir_mustafa »

Hi:
I have installed CactiEZ and its working fine. I wanted to add SLA functionality. The required XML files were success fully added

cacti_data_query_cisco_saa_632.xml AND cisco_saa.xml

but when I go to "Create Graph" an error message "Error in Data Query" is displayed. I am attaching the screen shot for necessary information.

You should change your php.ini file for now to "display_errors=Off" and then restart apache. When 0.8.7g is released you should be able to undo that.

Still Error

The Red Error message still displays and I am still unable to create graph. The verbose query is showing me some error as attached.

I don't know this template. My suspicion is that somehow you don't have it setup properly. You will have to edit the XML and locate the OID's and make sure they are reachable using your community information.

I had downloaded the template from following link.

The import was also successful but i am facing the problem as mentioned.

You have to understand how it works. Read my tagline. Your correcting this problem depends on how well you understand it.
