Poller disabled

Post by mbs »

I am trying to get mactrack working, but having trouble. I added sites, devices, and types, but the devices in my device list still show 'unknown' status and 'not detected' device type, with 0's for everything else.

Under tracking utilities -> view mactrack process status I see this:

Current Process Status
The MacTrack Poller is: DISABLED
Last Time Poller Started:
Poller Frequency: N/A
Approx. Next Runtime: N/A
Approx. Next DB Maintenance: N/A

I guess I need to enable the poller somehow? Any hints?

One other thing. When I click 'Devices', then on a particular device, I do get sensible stuff back under "SNMP Information", so I know the SNMP reads are succeeding...

I have the same problem, after trying both the current tarball and (currently installed) v2.8 from svn/tags. I've tried manually clicking the "rescan" on the MacTrack site list, which just returned nothing, and tried running php -f poller_mactrack.php from the CLI. There are no mactrack entries in the cacti.log at all.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Hi!
I have the same problem as yours.
Can you explain why you were an idiot please? (Because I think I am one too, but cannot realize it by finding the problem ^^ )
Thanks a lot!
