About SNMP V2 ON CACTI

Post by 51join »

Hi,I install cacti 0.87f on my CENTOS5.3 server(server A) and it work seems fine.But when I create a new host of HPUX(another server B) using SNMP V2 to catch the LANS OR filesystem, the Data Query Debug Information is :
......
No SNMP data returned
......
,but I run:
snmpwalk -v 2c -c public serverB .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1
,IF-MIB::ifIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1
IF-MIB::ifIndex.2 = INTEGER: 2
IF-MIB::ifIndex.3 = INTEGER: 3
IF-MIB::ifIndex.4 = INTEGER: 4
IF-MIB::ifIndex.5 = INTEGER: 5,
It's ok,

SO,I have to change the snmp v2 to v1, then it's ok,WHY?

We've got some issues with 087f, unfortunately. Planning 087g for Jul, 7th. We regret the trouble
