I cannot help you, because I am not familiar with MacTrack.
But for speeding up the process of helping you, please give the other users a little bit more information.

-OS
-Used Plugins
-Cacti Version
-Version of MacTrack
-Logs?

Maybe you also should add a screenshot of your problem. The mother tongue of many users here is not english, as I assume, neither it's yours. Pictures are always a better form of communication than words. :)

I'm not sure if I understood your question completely, but could you do the following ?

Add a device type with the info you see when going to the device :
SNMP Information
System: Cisco IOS Software, C3750 Software (C3750-IPBASEK9-M), Version 12.2(25)SEE2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) Copyright (c) 1986-2006 by Cisco Systems, Inc. Compiled Fri 28-Jul-06 12:55 by yenanh
Uptime: 3197801959
Hostname: ZELXC001.europe.bradycorp.net
ObjectID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516

Then go to device types, add
Give it a description (type of switch or router for instance)
You can use the objectID to fill in the Vendor snmp Object ID Match
Then in "System Description Match" you'll need to fill in a part of the "system" line so mactrack knows what device it is, for instance C375 in my example.

mac address scanning function, ip address scanning function and device type need to be filled in too.

Next Macktrack poll it will recognise the device.

If this is a fresh install then it's normal it's empty.

If it's an upgrade, the old device types should still be there.

Goto the Console-Device Types and press "Rescan". This will import the new device type into the table. You then have to establish the scanning function(s) and trim down the IFDESCR to something reasonable.

Post an image of your devices page with the device in question highlighted.

"device", not "device type".

You have to access to your Cisco device.
and apply "show version" in command line .

I think it's more than clear now!
