Hi !!
My configuration :
VM Redhat Enterprise 5 + cacti 0.8.7e
I want to install the syslog plugin in my cacti 0.8.7e but I never use cacti plugin. I follow this HowTo :
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... c&start=15
I haven't got any problems with the syslog messages (ie. my logs are in the database), but I can't install the plugin on my cacti because I haven't got the "$plugins" tab in my include/global.php file. Is it normal ? I see that another person have the same problem at the third post before the end of the link above.
Regards

Hi,
you need to install the "Plugin Architecture (PA)" first, just fire a search here in the forums. AFAIK it'll be included in 0.8.8, before that you need to install it manually.
After that you can add Plug-Ins via global.php or the newer ones by installing them with the GUI.
