Cacti Link issue

Post by sachin.work »

Hi All,
I am performance engineer and use cacti to monitor the server resources during perf/load test. I use the catci graphs URLS in my results report. When I click those URLS from the report email the URLS don't retain the time frame for which I created them.

e.g If I run 3 tests 1 hr each say 1 at 10 AM, then at 12 PM then at 2 PM, then I create the URLS for test: 1 from 10 AM to 11 AM, test: 2 from 12:00 PM to 1:00PM and for test: 3 from 2:00 PM to 3 PM. When I paste those 3 different URLs in email report and click on each of them the every URL will show the time frame of last ulr I created.

How do I fix this? I would like to have URL show the time frame for which I created them.

Save the images and use those in your email instead. Even if you do get a URL that works, the data will fade away over time as rrdtool aggregates old data. The images will be constant.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

You may consider the NECTAR plugin. If you need shorted intervals, please post a feature request

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
