ucd/net disk I/O

Post by Linuxman »

English version :)
Hi everybody,
i'm trying since several days to configure cacti to have read/write hard drive statistics using the template "ucd/net device I/O". it worked on linux operating system and not not on windows, i don't know why(is the net-snmp required for this template?). and since yesterday, trying to figure out the problem, i modified the data template configuration(Data Input Method switching between Get SNMP DATA(indexed), Get SNMP DATA...) and since it does not work. have i forgot something. thank you in advance for your help.

The diskio stats are not mandatory. It depends on the snmp agent used whether it provides that data or not. E.g. in older RHEL versions that data was not available (by default), newer ones do provide that information out of the box.
So this turns out to be a question for the SNMP agent used, not for cacti
