How to add my domains?

Post by spnova »

I've installed cacti by this instruction:
http://library.linode.com/server-monito ... .10-karmic
Cacti + SNMPD + Spine

And now graphs looks good for localhost.

But I need to see statistic for each of my sites. How I can add my sites to statistic? Is it possible?

Pick a device to which you have access and add it through the Devices menu item while in Console mode. Then add the appropriate graphs.

Why don't you use the official documentation at 1st link of my sig? I know, Ubuntu works a bit different. But please use the docs in case of errors or questions

Can't find information how I can monitoring my sites. Maybe it is impossible..
I mean, I have sites on my server: inposts.ru, blogovet.ru I need to see how many CPU loading use earch site, and Memory.
But maybe cacti can monitor only interface on my VPS (not each site)

You will need a method to get information from the requested devices. In most cases, SNMP is a good choice. But in case you don't have SNMP access to those devices, a script to fetch and analyse e.g. a web page would do as well. All depends on the way you are able to fetch those data from remote
