Cant install Cacti on ubuntu 9.10, help needed!!

I cant install Cacti on Ubuntu 9.10, and I wonder what the problem might be. Actually, I would like to know if it is a known problem and if I should use another version. If that is the case, which version should I use?

If this is not the case.. Does anyone have a good and working tutorial for it?

I installed cact using the small tutorial from here:

Although it is for Ubuntu 8.04, it's still valid for 9.10.
