how to configure SNMP on Cisco 3524 switch!

Hi to all,
I am new here and also new to snmp stuff.........and i really need your help!
I want to configure snmp on the cisco 3524 switch to monitor the bandwidth and other stuff.
I really want to know how i can do this?
as well as on the server side which software i can you to get the information from the switch....
please reply...............me

Just goto Cisco.com and download the user guide. I've configured mine with that help, too ;)

configure terminal
snmp ?
If you've already assigned a IP to the switch, just goto http://ip-of-switch/ , authorize with "admin" and the password you assigned and click that "Cluster Management Suite"-Link. There you can choose "System" and change SNMP with that GUI.
