npc tables not populating

I'm trying to use the npc plugin to graph Nagios data in Cacti. Both Nagios and Cacti are installed on Fedora 11. I followed to configurations according to: http://trac2.assembla.com/npc/wiki/QuickStartGuide, to install the npc plugin. I am seeing this:



When I check my npc_programstatus table its empty.

When I check my logs I see this:

ndomod: Could not open data sink! I'll keep trying but some output may get lost...
Event broker module '/usr/local/nagios/bin/ndomod.o' initialized successfully.

I'll be happy to post my config's if needed, I am pulling my hair out trying to make this work.
