Bulk Import of Pre-existing RRDs into Cacti

Post by stephenpc »

Hello,

I tried searching on the topic but haven't found anything definitive... I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

My setup is Nagios 3.2.0 with Nagiosgraph creating RRDs for various hosts. What I would like to do is take all of the pre-existing RRDs and import them into Cacti, since its ability to drill down and look at history is much better than in Nagiosgraph. Are there any plugins or scripts in existence that make this easy to do?

There are roughly 530 hosts involved, so the less manual labor - the better.

Any help is appreciated. :)

The problem is with the creating the mysql db data for administering those rrd files. The graph definitions and stuff are missing.
You may check the plugin section and the 3rd link of my sig for some nagios plugins. Personally, I had no need to use them up to now.
