routerconfigs sending gibberish

Post by grady »

I'm trying to get routerconfigs installed / working. Using Cacti Ver: Version 0.8.7e, routerconfigs ver: 0.1. I've got the plugin installed and the sql tables imported. (I see the plugin_routerconfigs_* tables in cacti). I'm able to hop down to routerconfigs, add / change auth users, add devices, etc; it's just not backing anything up. When I try and run router-download.php from command line I get some misc warnings then the error below. It looks to me like for some reason routerconfigs is trying to pass gibberish for the username rather than what I've entered in the gui:

Code: Select all

Processing crrt02.p
User Access Verification

Username: ÿþ ÿúÿðÿþ'ÿý******
Password: Login failedSaving Debug
02/15/2010 09:13:37 AM - RouterConfigs: Poller[0] -1266250384 seconds
0 devices backed up successfully.
1 devices failed to backup.

These devices failed to backup
--------------------------------
crrt02.p - Login failed

It sends the username as gibberish then appends the password (masked above using the *'s by hand) to it. Thoughts?

Edit: Note that I did try the fix posted here: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... terconfigs to no avail.

Hrmm. It doesn't appear to be working. Other than that debug icon is there anywhere else I can get a better feel for why it's failing?
