Hello,
I have an cacti server Version 0.8.7b on an Ubuntu Server 8.10 installed.
I installed cacti with apt-get install cacti. Now I saw on the cacti website that there is an new version of cacti 0.8.7e. When I use the command apt-get install cacti it says that there is the newest version installed. Can you tell me how I can install the version 0.8.7e with apt-get install cacti?
Thanks Ciscler

You wait for whoever maintains the Ubuntu package to update the package. This is the problem with using packages.
It's not that hard to install Cacti "by hand".

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
