Hey,
i got problem with gapth cpu and load. I getting data via snmp (v1 and v2 checked) and cpu is 17% load 0.5 when on serwer i got cpu usage 800% and load 20. SNMP - Get Processor Information by core show good information but ucd/net - Load Average and ucd/net - CPU Usage is wrong. I got 2x Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2378. Where can be bug or my mistake? I use cacti 0.8.7b and debian on cacti and remote server.
Wrong stats on cpu and load

CPU and load are difficult beasts these days with multi-cores, HT and stuff. net-snmp changed policy for reporting CPU load; former it was possible to have 100% per CPU, that is, on an 8 core, you could reach 800%.
Cacti takes the data it gets from the SNMP agent, but it leaves the interpretation to you.

There are some other counters that add to 100%, and I am sure there is a template on the forums for using it, but have not bothered with either developing one on my own, or looking for it.

I have a problem on two CACTI one 0.8.6i and the latest 0.8.7e wih full patch.
As you can see in the graph below, the poller doesn't take any value above 99%. Any idea ?
Regard.
