Cacti graphs with NAN

Post by sektorNBA »

Hi,
i just installed cacti from FreeBSD 7.2 ports.
I added one Windows Server and itself.
Graphs have NAN at traffic and also i cant see nothing at cacti.log when poller runs from crom.
My system:
General Information
Date Tue, 08 Dec 2009 14:31:23 -0200
Cacti Version 0.8.7d
Cacti OS unix
SNMP Version NET-SNMP version: 5.4.2.1
RRDTool Version RRDTool 1.3.x
Hosts 2
Graphs 4
Data Sources Script/Command: 5
Total: 5

caos# crontab -l
*/5 * * * * cacti /usr/local/bin/php /usr/local/share/cacti/poller.php
caos#

caos# pwd
/usr/local/share/cacti/log
caos# ls -la
total 14
drwxr-xr-x 2 cacti cacti 512 Dec 8 13:45 .
drwxr-xr-x 12 root wheel 1536 Dec 7 20:57 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 cacti cacti 33 Dec 7 20:57 .htaccess
-rwxr-xr-x 1 cacti cacti 3321 Dec 8 14:20 cacti.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 cacti cacti 2384 Dec 8 10:15 cacti.old
caos#

I read http://forums.cacti.net/about15136.html but that didn´t help much.

Can anyone help me?

You are using localhost templates that match certain Linux distros only.
This is not a good idea.
I recommend using "ucd/net-snmp" templates for a start

I am still with some issues.

At devices -> mydevice.mydomain:
1)ucd/net - CPU Usage Is Being Graphed (Edit)
2) ucd/net - Load Average Not Being Graphed
3) ucd/net - Memory Usage Not Being Graphed

When i click at GRAPHS tab, there is NO graphs.

thanks

Is it possible monitor windows servers ( CPU, memory, interfaces, disk usage, some running process ) from cacti?

I try using windows and ucd/net templates with no sucess.

How about http://www.snmp-informant.com/ ?
Do i need it installed on my windows servers?

Thanks
