How do I specify Data Input Method for check_nrpe

OK, don't shoot me, but I just can't figure it out and cannot find the answer anywhere.
I've got check_nrpe installed, and I think it is working. But I just can't figure out how to setup the 'Data Input Method' in Cacti. Is it in some FAQ somewhere? Help please!
