Run local application via browser

Hi,
Is it possible to run local application via weathermap? I think about executing putty when I click on node to set ssh session towards routers. I've tried to set:

	ICON images/my/siesta_small.jpg
	POSITION 105 1541
	INFOURL file:///c:/Program%20Files/putty/putty.exe

but it didn't work.
Is it even possible? Should I reconfigure apache server?
