Already googled it?! and it says something to do with my config either or on apache config or php config or my sql user account?! any help please.... I am dying to make thing run. Or should I follow from top to bottom instruction for Win install?! or do I still have to download the patch? I already did as far as I remember but still this error occurs.

This may be a distro related issue. Some distro maintainers did replace the cacti provided adodb package. But as we changed some code in there (bad, I know), this will cause issues.
So please tell us where you got that code and which distro you are running

Cacti : cacti-0.8.7e --------> got it from links of cacti website
RRDTOOL: 1.4.1 -----------> same from above

I do not need cygwin right? ADODB as I remember connection from the database. If the maintener did not change would it run?? perhaps right ?! oh well give me info I'll test it later.

thanks

Sorry, I was wrong. Platform = XP is not a real "distro" issue. But I can't help here, therefor moving to Windows

You did not follow the windows install guide. Cacti cannot be installed in a path with spaces.
