NaN values

Post by alexw »

Hello,

I've just installed Cacti on Debian 5, using the aptitude packages, and while I have graphs, and the poller appears to be running every five minutes, I get no data in my graphs.

If I export the data from any of them, it's just NaN values for each point. For example...

"Title:","Localhost - Load Average"
"Vertical Label:","processes in the run queue"
"Start Date:","2009-10-03 11:00:00"
"End Date:","2009-10-04 10:55:00"
"Step:","300"
"Total Rows:","288"
"Graph ID:","2"
"Host ID:","1"
""
"Date","1 Minute Average","5 Minute Average","15 Minute Average","col4-cdefg"

Have you tried this debugging process?

Ok, I've been through the debug process and things seems to be ok.

If I do...

rrdtool info localhost_load_1min_5.rrd

I get...

Still NaNs for all data. Any other things I should look at?

What does your cacti.log says? Isn't there any kind of error messages?
And how about your rrd files permission?
