0.96a => Old Plugin Architecture [SOLVED]

Post by trik »

Hello,

I use Cacti 0.8.7e and PIA 2.5 and i obtain an error when i try to install Weather Map plugin 0.96a :

"Old Plugin Architecture" message in plugin management :-?

It is normal ? I suppose that i need to wait the next release of weather map ... i'm right ?

I make some research in the forum and i found nothing.
Another user with this error ?

Any help will be welcome...

Thank's,

Trik

PS : sorry for my english

Weathermap is, for the moment, built around the "old" plugin-architecture method of being installed.

This means that, to activate Weathermap, you need to edit <path_cacti>/include/global.php and add the following code:

Code: Select all

$plugins[] = 'weathermap';
You need to put the line after the $plugins = array(); line in global.php

It's not likely to change until I figure out how to allow for the realm ID changing without breaking the user's map permissions.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Yes.

(it's the only way - it's not a comporomise :-) )
