Spanning tree blocked port on Cisco switch

Post by croustimiel »

Hello,

I have installed CactiEZ on a linux server, I created hosts, it's works fine.
Now I have a Cisco loop on my network and I want to get the status of the ports on the spanning tree loop.

I find that the "dot1dStpPortState" value give the state of the SpanningTree port.
Then the OID is : 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.15.1.3 and the different value are :

1 : disabled
2 : blocking
3 : listening
4 : learning
5 : forwarding
6 : broken

Then my question is : How can I made a SNMP request request from CactiEZ to get the value of dot1dStpPortState.

Thanks in advance fot your help.

OK, I'm a newbie. I discovered Cacti, if you can be more precise about where I can find the solution.

Then how to get the value of a SNMP request on a OID.

What do you want to "Graph" from this OID?
