Hi,
When I create a data source in Cacti and then go in Graph Management to add a new graph (ping latency) there are two data sources associated to my host and none of those work (the IP is correct but there is always a red cross instead of the graph picture). I have several hundreds of devices in that Cacti and everything was working fine until I create one graph and then suddenly the "double data sources trouble" has appeared. Here is what I can see by turning on the debug mode while creating the data source :
/usr/bin/rrdtool create \
/var/www/html/cacti/rra/myFileName.rrd \
--step 300 \
DS:ping:GAUGE:600:0:5000 \
DS:ping:GAUGE:600:0:5000 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:600 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:6:700 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:24:775 \
RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:288:797 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:1:600 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:6:700 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:24:775 \
RRA:MAX:0.5:288:797 \
There are 2 DS:ping...
Have you ever seen that kind of issue ?
Also, is there a limit in the number of devices which Cacti can handle ?
I'll appreciate your help.
Best regards

Check the Data Template which that graph template uses. Are there 2 pings?
What cacti version and have you installed the patches?
