Undefined index: errors /usr/share/cacti/site/lib/functions.

I have recently installed an ubuntu 8.04 system using the supplied cacti (0.8.7b) and then installed the plugin architecture cacti-plugin-0.8.7b-PA-v2.1.

After installng several plugins - syslog, thold, monitor, settings, discovery, superlinks - some pages keep giving me and error like:

Notice: Undefined index: listthold.php: in /usr/share/cacti/site/lib/functions.php on line 1636

Notice: Undefined index: discover_template.php: in /usr/share/cacti/site/lib/functions.php on line 1636

Can anyone tell me what these errors mean or how to fix them?

The syslog reports page is giving a bunch of errors:

Notice: Undefined index: rows in /usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/syslog/functions.php on line 474

Notice: Undefined index: rows in /usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/syslog/functions.php on line 475

Warning: Division by zero in /usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/syslog/functions.php on line 475

Notice: Undefined variable: id in /usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/syslog/syslog_reports.php on line 260

As far as I can tell I have installed the plugins as required but obviously something is wrong... any ideas?

Make sure you get the syslog plug from the cactiusers.org site and not the docs.cacti.net site. Unfortunately, the syslog-latest.tar.gz there is not a released version.
