XML file format i need some info

Hello
i need some help

i want write some script and a cant find inofmation about data query xml file format

a this moment i want write easy script in php that write to console or return variable at the end script and a i get :
batvol:28.1
invol:237.0
infrec:50.0
ouvol:239.0
oucur:0.9
effpower:174.0

this ara my ups param
now a have to make data query in XML but idon't know how , i try to find some info in manual ,about what special tags in this XML file do
