Admin locked up

Post by tw3 »

I changed my authentication method to try and incorporate LDAP. I've messed something up and now cannot login with the admin login using the LOCAL option. It just keeps going back to the login page.

Anyone have any ideas how to change the data tables to allow this again?

Searching for 'reset admin account' turns up several threads discussing this.

It's not the resetting the admin account I need, though. It's changing the authentication method back to the default method that I need.

When it brings you back to the login page, what did it say?
Why the opposition to reset the local admin password? Even when set up to use LDAP Authentication, the Builtin Authentication should always work...
