[SOLVED] Popup graphs hide in lower parts of the browser

Post by 9Nails »

In Windows XP, Firefox 3.0 or Internet Exploder 8, my Weathermap pop-up graphs are hiding in the scroll bars of the browser. This is really bad in the bottom right corner of the browser. Is there any trick to this, or is it just the way that it is?

Pictured below is my example of what is happening. It seems that the obvious answer is "well duh, dummy, move the scroll bars until you can see the popup graph!" But I assure you that the scroll bars for the window disappear as soon as I move off the hot-link area for the graph. So its impossible to scroll the page and see any more of the graph, because it goes away as soon as you move the mouse off of it then the page rendering returns to normal.

This is the lower right extreme corner of my Firefox browser. I'm pointing to a graph.

See the FAQ:

http://www.network-weathermap.com/manua ... boffscreen

and where OVERLIBGRAPH is described in the manual.
and numerous similar posts on the forum, or the mailing list.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Brilliant!

At first, I added the size of the window, but this made my images blurry. I recall some one else posted about something similar recently. After checking my Boost image cache for the proper image size, I've added...

OVERLIBWIDTH 403
OVERLIBHEIGHT 163

...to my default link and nodes. Now it's working like it should! You are the man!

After these changes, my graphs pop into the browser window instead of over the edges.
