What do you need to monitor? The standard interface traffic template should work for the actual traffic.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

It doesn't appear to be a template error, it appears as though you either have the wrong community string for SNMP or SNMP isn't enabled on the device.

Until you can get the SNMP message at the top of the devices screen to look something like my other one, don't worry about specific OIDs on the passport. The SNMP agent isn't configured correctly, or there is some firewall between the Cacti server and the switch, or the Cacti SNMP settings are wrong.
Simple things to check - does it need to be SNMP v2c instead of v1? Is the community string right? Can you use snmpwalk from a command-line on the Cacti server to read any info from the switch?

I just double confirm any setting , Cacti & Passport & IP & SNMP-V1 or
V2c & Community , But still can't get Passport6440 traffic .
I know SNMP-Information should be show device information , but try
many times ...

Can you do an SNMPWalk of the device from a terminal? Remember that the community string is case sensitive as well.jackey wrote:Hi...Howie wrote:Until you can get the SNMP message at the top of the devices screen to look something like my other one, don't worry about specific OIDs on the passport. You didn't answer. Can you do a snmpwalk from the Cacti server? Can you do an SNMPWalk of the device from a terminal? Remember that the community string is case sensitive as well.
If you can't, then your problem is not a Cacti problem. Perhaps you should talk to Nortel about configuring SNMP on the switch or reporting the bug.
If you can, then it probably is a Cacti problem.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
