Creating a graph where one value is divided by another?

Post by diluted »

My network administrator would like me to create a graph where number of interface errors is divided by traffic on that interface, to normalize the numbers and make it easier to see if something is out of wack.

Anyone know the best way to do this? Thanks!

I appreciate the link to the doc, and I know it should be done with a cdef... I was hoping someone might explain in a little more detail since the cdef documentation is very (and necessarily) dense and confusing.

Then please help making it better. Explain your case in more detail and this make make it into a new sub-chapter of the docs
