C: Drive shows no used space

Post by jansietje »

Hi,

I'm trying to get the available and used disk space from some Win2k3 servers. I'm using the Host MIB - Hard Drive Space data template.
D: E: and X: drive do show the available space and used space correcty, but the C: drive only shows the available space correctly, the used space stays 0. And this is not correct.
Any idea where to look for clues?

Both of you read http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11747 and then repost.

SNMPWALK .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1 and post the results.

The windows snmp disk agent is known to be picky. Try increasing the snmp timeout to those devices. Otherwise, convert it to a pure snmp query: http://docs.cacti.net/usertemplate:data ... disk_usage

I have tried the advise to raise the timeout value for the SNMP. I've raised it from 500 to 1000 and now alle drives are being measured. C:, D:, and whatever driveletter there is. I cross checked the measurements and they all seem to be OK.
Thanks for the clues.
