Poller not trying to create RRD files.

Post by MU-IT »

I don't see where the poller is trying to create the RRD files it thinks it should have.
ERROR: opening 'C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/cacti/rra/234/30584.rrd': No such file or directory
with logging set to debug, there was no mention of the 30584.rrd file. Process Manager had no permissions failures, nor any mention of the 30584.rrd file.

These are for interface graphs. Disk space, user login, temp graphs are all created and functioning normally.

What should I try next?

What cacti version? patches installed?

With the logging level set to debug, post the cacti.log from a single polling cycle. There is no mention of DS[30584] in there? What IP does 30584 correspond with?

Sorry BSOD, I mean to attach that info.

Latest cacti, latest patches.

The cacti.log makes no mention of 30584, and it's IP is sending other data to a working RRD with every poll.

I did notice that it all involves the bits/sec traffic template, what direction do I head there?

That was with debugging logging enabled for a polling cycle, right?

Mind posting your cacti.log file (as an attachment) from a debugging polling cycle run?

Hey BSOD,

I just started over. Cacti was a bit cluttered anyway with all my test shenanigans.

I was hoping for an easy (read: id10t) response.

Thanks for your time in troubleshooting.
