No End Device IP Address and errors in cacti.log

Post by probst »

Hey, during my training course, I've installed Cacti v0.8.7d and some plugins and MacTrack.
MacTrack works quite fine, but I've no End Device IP Address, and the Cacti log file is full !
I've these errors :

06/04/2009 04:35:02 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Assoc Failed!, Error:'2006', SQL:"SELECT * FROM mac_track_temp_ports WHERE ip_address != '' AND (dns_hostname = '' OR dns_hostname IS NULL)"

06/04/2009 04:35:02 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Assoc Failed!, Error:'2006', SQL:"SELECT last_rundate, COUNT(last_rundate) AS devices FROM mac_track_devices WHERE disabled = '' GROUP BY last_rundate ORDER BY last_rundate DESC;"

06/04/2009 04:35:02 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Cell Failed!, Error:'2006', SQL:"SELECT COUNT(*) FROM mac_track_processes WHERE device_id <> '0'"

I've not found what does it refers to...

Thanks for help,

Thibaut

You do not have enough MySQL connections. You should increase this "max_connections" in my.cnf and restart MySQL.

You need at least one Access Router per site in MacTrack.

An access router is the router that provides connectivity for the site. However, if there are site specific servers, you may need additional routers to gain a complete IP/MAC mapping.

But the router I added is the access router :
all the switches are connected to the Extreme Networks Router and it is connected to Internet....
