takes a long time to show downed device

Hi there,

When I click on a device (Managment -> Device) that is down, it takes a really long time to bring up the device configuration screen. I figured it is trying to do snmp with the device & keep trying according to the retry settings.

Is there a way around this so that I can instantly get to config screen of a device that is currently down, without the need to change snmp retry settings?

Not that I know of. Why would the UI use a different timeout than the poller? Thats the point of a specified timeout for a device....
