Code: Select all

/usr/local/zenoss/common/bin/rrdtool: error while loading shared libraries: librrd.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
What happens if you run /usr/local/zenoss/common/bin/rrdtool from the command-line? It looks like your rrdtool is broken in some way. That map config looks OK.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

I tried it and gives me the same error :x

If you just run that command-line, you aren't even specifying a file to work with, so I don't think so... I would say talk to the Zenoss folks, since it seems to be part of the installation.

I think like you.
I tried to run the command as the zenoss user and it works!
I must find a way to associate the librrd.os.2 to the root user.

then I think it is a problem of users, I see if I can solve through the forum zenoss

thanks anyway for your valuable help

sorry but i have another output error:

Code: Select all

No log handling enabled - turning on stderr logging
Cannot find module (LM-SENSORS-MIB): At line 1 in (none)
at least I have solved the other problem! the rrdtool command must be run as user zenoss.

OK, so run with --debug, and look for the lines that begin ReadData. You should be able to see what output rrdtool is giving.
