Fortigate graphs are not generated

Post by pokker67 »

Hi,
I have several devices being monitoring with cacti
last days I added a Fortigate, using host template that i found on this forum, but no graphs are generated, snmp is correctly configurated on Fortinet, and information regarding device is showed by cacti, but status device also i showed down , is there another configuraton for Fortinet that i must enter on cacti

Thanks in advance for any help

In most cases, this is an issue with downed host detection. Please state the Cacti version you are using. In most cases, a pure SNMP host detection works fine with snmp enabled devices

I am using the last one, 0.8.7, most of devices that i added was configurated using ping and snmp for detection, i have try using just snmp but is the same...i am using nagios also and i can detect and monitoring all Fortigate interfaces but Cacti can´t detect nothing

whats the problems between Cacti and fortigate devices ....????

What downtime detection is it failing (look in the cacti.log file)? Try changing to only snmp or ping. try increasing the timeout.
