I'm working on an ubuntu server with XAMPP and i would know if CACTI need MSQL (NOT MYSQL) to run because i saw HOWTO where it was wrote in PHP.INI you need to activate the line EXTENSION=MSQL.SO.

Cacti only works with the MySQL database at this time.
