Thold 4.1 - install not installing.

Post by kjohnsoncda »

This is a fresh install pointed at my existing cacti db.

Cacti 8.7d
Plugin Arch 2.4
Settings .5
Thold 4.1

PHP 5.25

Windows 2003 r2. IIS

I've copied the thold directory to my cacti\plugins directory.

Visiting the plugins management page and clicking on the Install option results in the browser status indicator running with no change.

I don't get a threshholds tab, and revisiting the plugins management page shows that thold still has the install option being the only one available.

I do however, get a thresholds option on the left control pane under management. Clicking on it results in a threshhold management page opening but with the error:

Undefined index: listthold.php: in C:\Cacti\lib\functions.php on line 1744

I've also tried adding the thold.sql to the db, setting the plugins row for thold to 1, and manually adding the thold plugin option to the globals.php. I still dont get a threshold tab.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Kirk.

The install never completes to where enable becomes a clickable option.
It's still listed as "Not Installed" in the Plugin management, and now I have two listed. attaching a screenshot.

Make sure that it is not included in global.php. And check your apache error log.
