Cacti cut off graphs traffic above 113 MB

Post by petpet »

Hi ,

It seems strange but i have no limits ( either data source or graph templates ) and above 114 Mbits traffic cacti cuts off the graph and shows only 25 Mbits line. So it not discards the value but calculate a different values
I started to use debug but no answer there
Do you have any idea ?

thanks in advance pet

I seem to have the same problem, but it drops to around 30 Mbps when going above 113 Mbps. Using RRDtool 1.2.30 and Cacti 0.8.7d.

yes, it depends, sometimes it's 15, 20 or 30 MB that left.
I have parallely run rtg ( real traffic grabber ) which grabs real traffic values, and it's about 130-150 Mbit on the measured interface.
So it seems like cacti cuts off 100 Mbits and leave the rest

thanks

Hello,

Explanations are here :
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=24526
you can switch to 64bits counters or change the polling to one minute.
